"ASITA" is a machine cover development service provided by Adrise Co., Ltd. We would like to introduce a case where we designed the HPCD-150H diamond tool grinding machine at the request of Koki Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. We received requests to improve the design while maintaining high operability. After implementation, we found the expertise in sheet metal structural design to be reliable. We received feedback that the idea for connecting the cast iron frame and cover was particularly good. We would like to introduce a case study of a prototype for ultra-precision machining requested by Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd., which we designed as a product. The request was to install a dedicated exterior cover tailored to the experimental machine, with the goal of giving users the impression of "ultra-precision." After implementation, we received feedback that in the initial stages, they were able to propose three design options. It was appreciated that the consideration of the machine's structure was broadened. Here is an example of a dedicated machine cover with a large three-panel sliding door developed by Mitsuya.

In this case, we created an overall assembly drawing in 3D CAD based on the specifications for the cover provided by the customer, and after obtaining the customer's approval, we created production drawings in 2D CAD for manufacturing. Typically, machine covers are often made solely through sheet metal processing; however, due to the size of the three-stage sliding door in this project, if the door is operated by a single handle on the worker's side, twisting occurs because the worker's side and the opposite side are separated, leading to a phenomenon where the roller on the opposite side digs into the rail, preventing the three-stage sliding door from moving. Therefore, we reinforced the inside of all three-stage sliding doors with components made from square pipes and other fabricated materials to enhance the rigidity of the door body. This fabrication helps to suppress the twisting phenomenon, allowing the rollers on both the worker's side and the opposite side to operate simultaneously, enabling the three-stage sliding door to be opened and closed effortlessly with just one handle on the worker's side.
